From Inspiration to Diamond Hoop Earrings
It's always a pleasure to build a long-term relationship with my clients and work with them on multiple projects.
One such client had a pair of diamond stud earrings that she wanted to turn into a more interesting design. Here is a photo of her classic diamond stud earrings.
We discussed the possibility of making a hanging earring, adding extra diamonds to enhance the single diamond stud, or simply upgrading her diamonds to a larger pair.
She also showed me a photo of a pair of hoop earrings she loved.
As you may notice, the diamonds in these hoops are emerald cut, whereas her diamonds were round. However, that issue was easily resolved when I met with my model maker.
Together, we worked to create a custom pair of earrings for her, using her own diamonds and the same shape of the reference photo she loved.
And that's the beauty of custom jewelry. You can easily create a pleasing piece that accommodates your treasured diamonds or gems.
TIP: Don't be intimidated by a design. If you love it but it doesn't match your current gemstones, it can be modeled into a beautiful piece inspired by the original design.
