Why Diamonds?

Diamonds are a true wonder of nature. For over millions of years, they were formed deep beneath the Earth's surface. Each diamond has a unique dodecahedra crystalline structure and its own brilliance and fire, making it one of the most coveted gems in the world.

The beauty of a diamond lies in its ability to reflect and refract light. After skilled artisans cut and polish a diamond, it displays the entire range of the rainbow, scattering multi-colored light in every direction.

How and Where Diamonds Are Formed

Formed when carbon deposits deep within the earth are subject to high temperature and pressure, diamonds do their best under almost unimaginable stress. Their formation can occur between 90 - 125 miles below the Earth's surface over millions of years.

Because each diamond takes so long to grow, every stone has its own characteristics, flaws and imperfections. Yet, these very traits are what makes a diamond one-of-a-kind.

In today's market, most diamonds are coming from Botswana.

As a seasoned jewelry designer with over 35 years in the industry, I enjoy working with diamonds of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

Whether designing a custom engagement ring or transforming an inherited piece into a client's personal taste, each project is its own custom piece of art, just as unique as the diamond itself.

TIP: When making an investment in a diamond, make sure you know exactly who you are buying from and get the proper documentation.
