Blue Topaz Earrings Reimagined

When meeting with a client, we always seem to discover old pieces in their jewelry box. These pieces naturally come up in conversation and clients tell me they are not fully enjoying their entire collection.

Just recently I went to deliver earrings to a client. During our conversation, she mentioned how pleased she was with the finished product and wanted me to do more work for her.

She already had an aquamarine and diamond necklace she loved, and a pair of blue topaz earrings she wasn't wearing because she didn't like the way they fell on her ear.

We decided to redesign her earrings into a white gold setting that suits her current style and also complements the necklace. These hanging earrings were essentially reborn into a piece she will actually wear and enjoy time and time again.

Further, whether she chooses to pair the new earrings with her aquamarine and diamond necklace or wear them on their own, my client now found two ways to wear an old set of earrings, and fully enjoy her collection.

TIP: When organizing your jewelry collection, think about the pieces you haven't worn for a while, and why you haven't worn them.
