Annual Jewelry Show

by silvermarc on April 19, 2013

As the year rushes to a close, I hope you’ll pause a moment as I share some of my holiday excitement by recapturing special moments for you from my Annual Jewelry Show at the Doncaster Showroom. If you missed it, let me describe the work of some extraordinary designers, offered at amazing discounts.

First off, imagine an unforgettable location. The beautiful Showroom is on 57th street, facing Central Park and the view outside the main window is mesmerizing this frosty time of year. My co-hosts included a fashion stylist with a classic line of clothing that can accommodate any style and a financial advisor who works with high net worth clients. Visitors were surrounded by a wide selection of fabrics and styles in the front room, along with an offering of wine and delectables.

The jewelry I was showcasing was laid out for viewing in the adjoining showroom, where my guests could also admire the radiant street view. The display that night included the work of a talented designer inspired by the culture and lushness of Bali. This line includes handmade pieces in sterling silver and 18k gold with genuine stones. The heavy cast pieces are handmade. There was also a line of jewelry on display by this designer where part of the profit is donated to Stand Up for Cancer – this jewelry is all gold with rough diamonds, as well as colored diamonds. I can sell this line at 50% off the website price.
Another designer whose work was featured at the show is from Istanbul, Turkey. She uses brass overlaid with 18k gold. She also uses natural gemstones – and again my prices are 50% off retail. I also showed pieces from my personal collection, including gold, pearls and diamond jewelry.

If this blog leaves you sad for opportunities lost, don’t despair! I have more shows coming up soon in 2012 and will keep you posted. At any time of year, I love to help my clients bring unforgettable gifts to their family and friends – gifts that last a lifetime and create family treasures to pass on. My work takes on special meaning during the holidays when I am able to help my clients make this the most memorable year ever!
